Georgia Tech Candlelight Vigil Turns Violent
Things begin to take a turn for the worse on the Georgia Tech campus located in Atlanta GA. What started as a peaceful candlelight vigil for slain student Scout Schultz began to turn violent towards the end. Members of the LGBT Community and fellow students of Georgia Tech gathered in the hundreds on campus to protest the police killing of their beloved friend. At the ending of the vigil people began to appear in masks and attempted to cover media cameras with their coats and jackets. You can hear protesters screaming Fuck The Police. Saturday night officers of GA Tech got an anonymous call from a student with a weapon. Officers located Scout in the parking lot holding a multi purpose tool and after repeated pleas from the officers to put down the weapon Scout began to walked toward the officers and they kept backing up until there backs were against a barricade, thats when one officer shot and the bullet pierced Scouts heart. Scout was active in the LGBT group on campus and one of the leaders of the movement.
